Application and Registration

How to Apply:
NOTE: ALL COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN THE PARTICIPANT AND THE INSTITUTE SHOULD BE DONE VIA E-MAIL.

  1. Fill out the initial application form on-line at http://www.yeshuaghana.net/apply. The admissions office will evaluate this form and respond as to your eligibility for this program.
  2. If eligible: Download and complete the admission form at http://www.yeshuaghana.net/docs/ApplicationFormProfessionalCertificateInHealth.pdf.
  3. Scan (pdf preferable) the completed admission form and submit it by e-mail to admissions@yeshuaghana.net.
  4. We will process your application for admission as soon as we receive the scanned copy of your application handling/filing fee receipt (amount and bank details can be found at the financial information section of this document); and all other required documents. Submit these by e-mail to admissions@yeshuaghana.net.
  5. Shortly after, you will receive an admissions offer letter with an acceptance form attached.
  6. Upon acceptance of the admission offer, we will e-mail you details on how to register on-line.
  7. You should register as early as possible to avoid late registration charges.Registration ends on the day of re-opening.
  8. Once you register, we will send you a student number. You will also be issued with a student e-mail account which is assessable through the student portal. There are many benefits to this, but primarily, its:

    • Provides a safe a reliable communications channel.
    • Speeds us communication better between us.
    • Gives you a sense of ‘identity’ to all students.

On-line Recourses (I-Campus):
The Yeshua Tech I-Campus is a virtual learning environment assessed through the student portal and offers a centralized location where students can find:

  1. The medical records course/subject pages with news and updates provided by the Institute administration and lecturers.
  2. Here we have complete version of course syllabus and notes.
  3. On-line audio and video presentations
  4. Discussion forums where student can debate and interact with others (participants, lectures, staff, or visitors).
  5. Computer Marked Assessments/Multiple choice questions providing feedback. This allows students to test their knowledge and understanding of key topics.
  6. On-line exercise – exercises which are designed to build and enhance participant’s ability to find health information materials using electronic sources and conduct health research generally.
  7. Online access: the participant must have access to a laptop/ portable computers with an internet connection so that s/he can us the online resources.

Personal Callers: If you are in Accra, you would be most welcome to visit our offices. Our offices are open between 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday – Saturday, but you are advised to telephone first to make an appointment to ensure that the person you want to see is available.
